Polaroid TV Remote Programming Process

Step 1: Switch on the target device.

[Tips: Before switching on, ensure that the power cable of the device is properly connected. Furthermore, it is suggested to use new batteries in the remote for better performance.]

Step 2: Point the remote towards the target device.

[Tips: Make sure that there is no obstacle in front of the IR sensor of the target device.]

Step 3: Press the button respective to the target device.

[Tips: For instance, press the “TV” button for television.]

Step 4: Press and hold the “SET” button until the light on the remote flashes three times.

[Tips: This signifies that the remote has entered programming mode.]

Step 5: Using The number keys, enter the right code for the device. Once the code is entered, the light will flash twice.

Step 6: Using the number keys, designate the type of device for which the remote is being programmed. Press “0” for cable/satellite box, “1” for TV, “2” for DVD player and “3” for VCR or an audio device.

Step-7: After the device has been chosen, press the power button first and then keep pressing the “CH+” button once in every two or three seconds till the device switches off.

Step 9: Press and hold the “Set” button till the light on the remote flashes for two times.

Step 10: Turn the device back on and check if the other buttons on the remote are working properly or not.[Tips: If they are not working properly, it means the programming was not successful. The user will have to repeat the steps from the beginning using a different code from the list.]

STEP 1: Switch “ON” the device. Keep the remote in front of your device.

STEP 4: Press and hold down the “POWER” button from your remote control. Along with the “CH +” button until your device switches “OFF” automatically.
